So Purple is the new black this season, if  I may say so, not bad, but I am sorry- what is up with this seasons shoes!!!! In as much as i love fashion, there are some things I love at first sight, others i hate then grow to love, and the rest~ I Just dont love, AT ALL!~ Oxfords!!!!!
As for the gladiators, i hated then grew to love them, but personally i think the Fashion world should stay on the practical side here, platforms are in too~ no comments on that.

~Fashion Tips 2~

Straight up and down need not be a problem; what you need is a little definition around the waist area (OUR Wobbly Bits), so lets set you on the road to womanly curves...

  • Avoid shapeless dresses. Opt instead for fitted clothes.
  • Go for simple necklines that taper in beneath the bust to create a waistline.
  • Hipster trousers are great for creating a waistline.

Wobbly bellies are a common trait of the 'apple' body shape and a frequent source of frustration to the not-so-proud owner. Make sure you go shopping armed with our tummy-concealing tips.

  • Flat-fronted trousers and skirts are really flattering for a larger tummy. Try to avoid pleats and front zips - side and back zips are a much more flattering option.
  • Low-waisted trousers make the stomach look smaller.
  • Don't wear anything that's gathered at the waist.
  • Wear soft, forgiving fabrics that don't cling to the tummy.
  • Wrap-around tops create folds across the tummy that detract from any other rippling in that area.
  • Avoid belted jackets and coats - the belt will ride up and give the impression that you're pregnant.

Abide by the following rules (Not Long enough legs) when you hit the high street and we'll make a leggy, supermodel of you yet.

  • Avoid three-quarter length trousers because they make legs look shorter. Trousers should be full length, falling to the bottom of the heel
  • Don't wear trousers with turn-ups or wide legs, instead opt for narrow, straight legs or bootcut trousers
  • Skirts and trousers with high waistbands make legs look longer too.
  • Create the illusion of height by wearing a top and bottom of the same colour, drawing the eye up and down.
  • Longer length jackets worn undone also give the illusion of height.
  • Avoid chunky, ribbed tops that widen rather than lengthen the body.
  • Wear heels!!!!

~Fashion Tips~

If you've got long legs, there'll be times when you simply want to blend in with the crowd instead of towering above it.

  • Avoid clothes with vertical lines, such as pinstripe suits.
  • Don't wear one colour top-to-toe.
  • Low-waisted, bootcut or straight leg trousers are great for long legs.
  • Opt for low kitten heels rather than flat shoes.

Although your shoulders may be average, you may not want to draw attention to them. If this is the case, avoid the following:

  • Delicate tops with spaghetti straps.
  • Halter-necked tops.
  • Slash-necked tops.

Despite having average-sized boobs (36 C), there may be occasions when you want to give the illusion of a fuller bust.

  • Always wear a bra.
  • Wear high-necked tops or roll-necks to accentuate your boobs.
  • Opt for delicate tops with spaghetti straps.
  • Sleeveless, round-necked tops that show off your arms are great.
  • Wear tops in a lighter colour than your lower half.

Don't be tempted to hide your waist under shapeless, smock-like clothing. Add definition and create a waistline to be proud of.

  • A-line skirts are great for slimming a wide waistline.
  • Wear tops that are fitted under the boobs to give definition.
  • Wear fitted clothes and avoid shapeless dresses.
  • Wear hipsters instead of high-waisted trousers.

If your tummy isn't a problem area, but isn't necessarily something you would want to draw attention to, use these rules when you go shopping:

  • Flat-fronted trousers and skirts are really flattering for a larger tummy. Try to avoid pleats and front zips - side and back zips are a much more flattering option.
  • Low-waisted trousers make stomachs look smaller.
  • Don't wear anything that's gathered at the waist.
  • Wear soft, forgiving fabrics that don't cling to the tummy.
  • Wrap-around tops create folds across the tummy that detract from any other rippling in that area.
  • Avoid belted jackets and coats. The belt will ride up and give the impression that you're pregnant.

While child-bearing hips are great for that earth-mother look, there will be times when you want to conceal your more voluptuous areas.

  • Don't wear dresses and skirts that cling or are bias-cut.
  • Avoid narrow-legged trousers and tapered, knee-length skirts.
  • Avoid belts that pull you in at the waist - you don't want to create an even greater contrast from waist to hip.
  • Opt for A-line skirts and bootleg trousers that balance out the hips and thighs.
  • Skirts or dresses with a frilled hem are a flattering choice.
  • Trousers with detail, such as side pockets, will make you look wider.
  • Wear slash-necked tops to broaden shoulders and balance out the hips and thighs.
  • Choose longer line, fitted jackets. Never wear box jackets which emphasise a pear shape.
  • Avoid cropped tops.
  • V-necked tops are great for drawing the eye away from the hip area.
  • Wearing the same colour on the top and bottom is very slimming.

If the answer to the question: "Does my bum look big in this?" is a resounding "yes!", then consider the following tips before hitting the high street.

  • Avoid wearing light colours on your lower half.
  • Avoid narrow-legged trousers.
  • Wear longer jackets that fall below the bottom and never wear jackets that end where your bum starts.
  • Wear jumpers around the waist over trousers to break up the expanse of bottom.
  • Opt for wide-bottomed trousers with no detail, such as pockets with pinstripes, on the bottom and avoid pleats.

How To Lose Weight

Is there anything new in this topic......NO! they are things you and I already know, but the secret is SELF DISCIPLINE, the 1st two weeks are always easy and ok, but when you have to wake up the next day to hit the gym and you step on the scale, you see figures and it feels like you have been wasting your time, you start craving the wrong foods, wanting to quit the gym, u say watever! after all i can't see any difference~  i tell you, these are the most trying times.

It took me 3 full months at the gym, 1 hour six days a week, 1 hr brisk walking in the evenings, some form of exericse while watching TV, parking far away from where i was going, so i could walk to my destination, eating HEALTHY, nope i did not go on a diet, I CHOSE my food~ as we all know YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT~, these and anything else to lose 13kg. So from 75kg - 62kg @ 5'7 lets see, i looked hot in my eyes, 2 packs, sorry couldn't make it up to six, firm body but! i looked anorexic, had dark circles around my eyes, my head was definitely big, irregular cycles, lost my Boobs! and i wasn't having that, eehn, imagine a once voluptuous sexy "fat"thang now without her assets, na man! so i ate up, 6kg heavier and I can say 2 1/2 of that went back to my prized goods ~ dem milk shakes are definitely bringing all the boys to the yard now, my tummy is not as flat as a board but i definitely don't have tyres, and my tush is just right.

That was four years ago and now after losing 2kg i still have the body of a sex goddess, if i may say so. My self esteem and confidence ~sky high . All it took was me deciding what i wanted and sticking to it, so people you have no excuses, if you want a fabulous body you have to work for it.

The Basics...

When it comes to dressing, there are  the basics:

*Recognise your assets and choose clothes which flatter this part of your body.

*Your bra (This is the best thing a girl can do to herself ~ A Good Bra)

  • Always make sure your bra is lighter or the same colour as the clothes you're wearing.
  • If you have big breasts - it's essential to wear a bra that fits you properly; a good bra will lift the boobs and give definition to the waist.
  • Balcony bras look great on girls with large chests.
  • Avoid thin back straps unless you are totally fatless or you will end up with unsightly back bulges under your clothes.
  • If you have small breasts - spaghetti straps will offer enough support. it's all right to show the straps off under spaghetti strapped tops and dresses, as long as the bra is pretty.
  • If you want to create cleavage, wear 'chicken fillets'.
  • Small breasts look good in bras with 'chicken fillet padding' and a draw-string front.
* Moving On...
  • Show off your breasts OR your bum, never both in one outfit.
  • If you have love handles or a round tummy, wear textured fabrics and wrap-around clothes.
  • If you have a short or wide neck, wear tops that are open at the neck, rather than high or round ones, to lengthen and slim your neck.
  • If your clothes are too tight, you'll look fatter not thinner; straining fabric is a style no-no!

Ssshh........Don't Tell.

Looking good is all about making the most of yourself, we always seem to have a problem with our bodies, either we’re wishing and hoping to lose Just 3kg ~ 5kg or 10kg, or wishing we had perky boobs or in fact more boobs, to just wanting to lose weight in a particular area of our bodies, THERE IS NO SUCH THING people! You can tone a particular area but not lose weight from that area! We concentrate so much on our flaws that we become disheartened. BUT there is always a way out…............   *Says the girl who lost 13kg and 4 dress sizes.

1st you need Self esteem

Definitions of self-esteem vary in their breadth and sophistication. But all agree that high self-esteem means that we appreciate ourselves and our personal worth. More specifically, it means:

  • we have a positive attitude
  • we value ourselves highly
  • we're convinced of our own abilities
  • we see ourselves as competent, in control of our own lives and able to do what we want.
